suggest safety schools for econ

During my college search, I've found a lot of high match and reach schools. I realized that I need a lot more low match and safety schools! I am asian female, currently a junior in a NJ high school.

Stats

GPA:
Unknown until the end of this year. My GPA will only be calculated with my Junior year grades. I spent freshman and sophomore year in Australia and my current school does not include those grades.
I'm taking a rigorous course load and believe will end this year with an approximate GPA of 3.7-3.8 UW and 4.5-4.6 W.

12 Grade Schedule
AP Calculus BC, AP Physics C, AP Stats, APUSH, Asian Literature Honors, and P.E/health.

SATIs: 2140 - 740 Math, 690 Writing, 710 Critical Reading.
I retook them today but I don't think I improved... I'm taking SATIIs in June & October

EC's:
-Pretty involved in church and I'm most likely going on a mission trip this summer.
-2 years of softball and basketball
-Piano
-Various clubs at school
-Couple hundred hours of volunteer work
My health problems prevented me from participating me in a lot of ECs in 9th/10th grade :/

I don't know if this counts as a hook, but I've lived in a lot of countries and I plan on writing about my experiences in my essays.

School Criteria:
I want to major in Economics but I'm also considering International Relations as a minor or double major.
-Schools either on the east coast or the west coast. I'm not really willing to go to the midwest except for Illinois and Michigan.
-Around 2,000 - 10,000 undergrads
-Want an urban feel but would definitely like some grass. Some campuses that I liked were UPenn and Boston College
-Definitely coed. I spent 3 years at an all girls school and I don't want to attend another one for 4 more years.

Thanks for reading and I'm open to heaps of suggestions :)!

Although your HS doesn’t include grades from your first 2 years, colleges will. They will want your transcript from all high school’s and will calculate a GPA using thei own methodology. So we would would need all of your grades to give you a read.

Yes, I realize that. I’m just having a little trouble deciding how to send in my grades from my previous school. They only gave out report cards twice a year, with each one approximately 12 pages long! Plus, their grading system was entirely different. I’m planning to give them a call in the near future to figure something out though.

The high school will send your entire transcripts to each college you apply to. Australia send lots of kids to US colleges and this should be no problem for your school there and US colleges know the standards in Australia.

I’m sure they have a method of sending the transcripts but I’m unsure what it is as of now. Definitely on my to-do list!

Any suggestions for colleges?

Any suggestions?

Georgetown, Amherst.

Uh, Amherst with a 15% admit rate as a safety? I don’t think so. Most schools have econ programs. Look at your state schools first.

Yeah, I didn’t notice the safety school part. I just meant to suggest schools that it seemed he would like.

I think Trinity College, America and Clark could be your safeties or low matches. Rochester or Brandies are definitely matches.

Hope this will help. :)
