Suggest some more schools for me?

A bit about me...

I'm a potential athletic recruit for women's soccer. I'm looking to major in chemical or biomedical engineering, economics, or possibly go premed. I might be interested in minoring in German. I'd prefer a school with about 5-15 thousand students, but I'm not that picky about that. I'd prefer D3 athletics.

I'm really interested in UChicago, WashU, Carnegie Mellon, Tufts, and Rochester. Maybe these schools aren't really similar at all, but oh well. I'm looking for good schools that are not as selective as these, as I need to find some matches. Unfortunately, I don't have any ACT score, but I need some ideas to try to to determine what camps and schools to check out this year.

RIT is less selective than U of Rochester and has decent women’s soccer and about 15 K students. The city of Rochester is the home of Abby Wambach and has a women’s professional soccer team for which she plays. You might catch a few games and see player’s from the women’s national team.

Thanks for the suggestion! I’ll look into that :)

Case Western Reserve, RPI, WPI, BU, Northeastern

University of Dayton.

Abby Wambach might run a soccer camp in Rochester this summer…not sure.

I was looking into Case, and it would be a good option for me because it is close to home. However, I don’t know how I feel about the Cleveland area :/

U of Dayton, BU, and Northeastern are all D1 schools, so those are pretty much out. But I’ll check out the others :)

Bump…

What’s your budget?

Yes, what is your Expected Family Contribution? How much of it is your family able and willing to cover? And what state are you in? Your in-state public flagship may be an affordable match/safety with good engineering programs.

Johns Hopkins would not be a safety, but it is a better choice than Chicago for biomedical engineering. It fits your size range. It seems to have a strong German department.

Other possibilities: Case Western, Boston University. The former is a little below your 5K mark and the latter a little above (by undergraduate size).

rollins college?

Lindenwood is just now going D2, Missouri S&T is D2, Wait wait - Truman State in Missouri - Lots of pre-med majors and lower D2 soccer (I call it that because they have just switched to a less competitive conference for D2 sports)
