Cranbrook said they might not have financial aid,and for Interlochen I would want to do Comparative Arts.

Keep in mind that there are other great schools with bigger financial aid budgets. At a lot of schools, you would probably be able to customize the arts program to yourself and trade it out for sports, so that’s something to look into as well.

Now I know, practically every school is saying that they don’t have enough financial aid.

Hi everyone. I’m a newly admitted Cranbrook student. I’m not going, though, since it’s not granting me enough Financial Aid so that my parents can afford it. But regarding your financial aid issue, if you’re a domestic applicant then it can be quite generous. One thing I can say is that its atmosphere is very amiable. They understand how students can be a little baffled first time at a private or boarding school. For international students who are excellent at science (math, physics, chemistry, etc) they still know that studying the subjects for the first time in English will be challenging so the teachers don’t ask too much from their students, at the same time help them to quicker adapt.
Cranbrook is really the place to get the experience outside the classroom. If you have visited or even done a little research on the school’s campus and infrastructure, you will be amazed!
Hope this helps!

Cram brook said that they did not have any financial aid. My family make about 23,000 a year, so we would need a lot.

If you’re planning to apply next year look into The Putney School.
