No, leaving it blank results in higher than 200. Getting 200 is only achievable if you do worse than would result from random guessing.

If that is the problem, then what I would suggest in this situation is focusing on becoming a better reader and writer, rather than preparing for the SAT. Find some books you are interested in and read them. Your English is good for a non-native speaker, but if you want to do well, you must become fluent. That is why I suggest a lot of reading, so that you may become fluent. The Harry Potter series might be a good start for you; it’s intended to interesting and the diction is neither too high nor too basic.

No I do all questions B or C and get 270-300. But I don’t know any question.Where can I get it? I have vocabulary (BARRON’S) and 700 pages of literature.

I don’t need to postpone my preparation.I registered for 9 october. I need figure out what to prepare for CR and improve WR multiple-choise, thats it.

I can study 10-12 hours per day.But I must know that I’m working on wright direction.

For Writing, I recommend my grammar guide. For CR, in your case I am not really sure what to recommend. Do you consider yourself a generally competent reader in English?

Can you post your scores for each section

No.As, I said I passed TOEFL on May. And 50% was right and 50% was wrong. What about “Direction Hit” can I doeload it in pdf and it’s helpfull for me?

The series is called “Direct Hits.” You can buy it on Amazon. It should be helpful with vocabulary, but it will not help otherwise.

In your case, I don’t think learning vocab will help you. I think you should rather concentrate on improving your reading skills.

My advice: try to choose D instead of C. hahahahah just kidding

Again, Can you post your scores for each section?

300-CR Math 560 WR 330

Now I improved my Math to 600, after several weeks it will be 700-750.But CR- not. I can wright good essay.I know History well.I think 10 points is at lest. How much they give poits for essay? 200?

Ok, try to improve in writing because this section is easy to improve in. Use silverturtle’s guide.

Also, do not neglect math but continue practicing and try to improve more and more.

Regarding the essay, I can’t say that there is a number of points because CB combine both mutiple choice and the essay in raw score.

For CR, I don’t know how to advice you in this section but I think with taking practice tests you may get familiar with the types of the question, and just don’t choose randomly but instead try to understand the question. Take this section untimed until you feel that you are able to solve under time conditions.

Zosilo,
Thank you, but can I download “Direction Hits?” And should I memorize BARRON’S word list?

for example, In blue book from 22 questions, if I try to figure out, correct is 5. If I choose random it’s 7-8.

As I indicated, the correct name is “Direct Hits.” I do not believe that the full version is available online, nor would I link to it if it were. But your time is better spent on improving your reading, not looking at difficult vocabulary.

Can you give me links where it’s availible?

Illinois, it’s good. I wish I could enter Loyola State University.

Ok, anyway. Thanks everybody for suggestions.I hope we will continue discussion tommorow. Now in Baku is night.Good Luck and Thanks!!!
