Suggestions, please

Looking for schools for my son. Interested in bio, but not 100 percent committed to that major prefer mid size college.

Ap world history 5
Ap US history 5
Ap bio 4

Prefer liberal arts with good sciences to give him options. Will be retaking SAT in fall.

Any location preferences? Any cost constraints?

In PA, Franklin & Marshall could be considered if not needing any merit aid. They do offer need based aid.

Thanks Creekland. Have looked into f & m and Dickinson. I have two boys applying to colleges so we are faced with some financial constraints. Wrt location… East, southeast maybe north east would consider farther afield but can’t visit due to costs.

So how much can you afford for college? And what is your home state?

Dickinson is also a good consideration as would be Bucknell. You could also check out Juniata, Ursinus, Muhlenberg, Gettysburg, and Lafayette - all PA schools kids at our school interested in sciences consider (along with F&M).

I second Muhlenberg, great LAC, with a fantastic science program. Worth a visit. And just a word of advice if you do visit, make sure they know you are there. Make an official visit, and then if interested, interview and show that you are interested in them. More that any other college my kids visited or attended they put great value in getting to know their students before admitting them. Best of luck to you!

Thanks will check out all of the above. Son is a bit reticent socially; enjoys board games, painting, and sci fi. Are these still good? Any NC options?
