Suggestions Please!

TOEFL: 603
ACT: 28
GPA: (Freshman year in a Chinese univ.) 82.86 out of 100;
(Last Fall semester) 3.73

I'm from China, and I won't apply for FA.

Any match Liberal Arts Colleges or just gimme a rank range?
I am so confused right now. Thanks!!!

Use your ACT score to narrow down your range of colleges. Then choose by price and/or location. There are websites that can help you with the ACT score like princetonreview.com or mychances.net. People on this site can then tell you about the schools on your list.

OK! Thank u so much!!!

I just used Princeton Review. It give me this list:

Good Match:
Gettysburg College
Claremont McKenna College
Bard College
Bowdoin College
College of the Holy Cross

Reach
Dartmouth College
California Institute of Technology
Massachusetts Institute of Technology
Pomona College
Washington University in St. Louis

It looks not accurate...

I actually would say that Gettsyburg and Holy Cross seem like decent matches. The rest might be slight reaches, but it's hard to say without knowing the rest of your stats.

Maybe we can give you more specific ideas if you tell us what you're looking for in a school.

My stats?
I have a lot of honors and extracurricular activities.
I am good at learning language. I can speak 4 languages. (Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean)
A very special hometown--- a communist village, famous and rich.

I am looking for a good Econ major school, with good reputation.
Competitive but not cut-throat competition.
I'm not Christian, is it OK to go to that Holy Cross college ?

Holy Cross accepts people of all religions. I'm sure they'd be happy to have you.

I just thought they won't like me... ^

how's my list now?

Safety

UCLA would be a reach if you're out-of-state, and Hamilton might be a reach too.

If you're going to have such a top-heavy list, I'd recommend adding another true safety (such as Marist).
