Rank: 100ish/450ish

SAT I: 710m, 610r (hopefully will be higher when i retake), 600w (same as r),
so a cumulative of 1920
SATII: USHistory: 720, Math I: 700

Decent EC's, nothing special except maybe a 3 week internship in NYC living alone

I'm interested in a strange combo of things: film, econ, and sociology

ANY SUGGESTIONS ON SCHOOLS WOULD BE SUPER =)

bump

Anyone?

Boston University has a good film program. If you really want to take the film route definitely take a look at USC in L.A.- I think you would have a shot at getting in,

Alrighty much appreciated. Anyone else?

Syracuse, Fordham, Ithaca, American and University of Pittsburgh.

sgcary you probably need to give more info.

Do you want--
rural or urban
big or small
LAC or university
east coast, west coast or any where in between
private or public
prestige name or you do not care
etc.

Hmm well university or LAC doesn't matter too much, as long as I can study a range of things (especially the ones i mentioned before).

Same goes for the size, I just don't want to go somewhere where it's small size limits it's resources.

And i think id prefer urban, only because I don't want to be in the middle of nowhere.

Public or private doesn't matter

And as prestige doesn't matter as long as it has real world recognition, especially in graduate schools.

Thanks for the help!

Bump.........

.....Last bump

I would say the same as poi and add Hofstra, Boston University and Emerson.

As of now it would be a pretty big reach, but NYU is obviously great for film and also is pretty good for sociology... And it's definitely not in the middle of nowhere!

Chapman University has a film school with impressive facilities and close ties to the CA film industry, and they have a good selection of majors that include economics and sociology. Your SAT scores are solidly in their middle 50%. Your GPA is a little lower than their average but not impossibly so.

Thank you!

Buhh uh mmmp
