Suggestive college essays - y/n?

So I was brainstorming some more essay topics as I am applying to ten schools, and seven of them are regular decision and will require some more essays and I came across an idea that I am not sure about yet.

Would it be completely detrimental to write an essay that talks about something that would be funny, but could be taken as immature if not written in a well thought out manner? My idea stemmed from UVa's supplement essay question "What is your favorite word and why?" So after a week or two of brainstorming, trying to think about some SAT-level vocab word that resembles me, I finally came up with a simple word: boobs. So I quickly wrote a 700-word rough draft about why "boobs" is my favorite word. I believe it is a well-thought-out essay that actually talks about much more than just boobs themselves, and it does not portray me as some sort of pervert. It rather details why boobs are so mysterious and attractive to guys, and the evolution of our interest in them.

SO my question to you all is, is this completely crazy? I don't want to take away all hopes of getting accepted to a very competitive school such as UVa, but I think this is some way to catch the counselors' attention, give them a laugh, and hopefully cause them to read my essay to the other counselors in the room, which would give my application an edge. My other essays deal with more serious things, but they do not show my witty, comical side.

Here is some more information about myself

Humor is harder to get across on paper than you would think and very risky in college essays in general.

Selective schools have many times the number of applicants that are qualified to attend than they have spaces. On some level, they are looking for reasons not to admit. It only takes one reader to be offended by your topic (and many women are potentially going to be) to put you in the “no” pile.
Send it to Playboy (they do have good articles) or share it with your [guy] friends, but don’t use it for college admissions!

Agree with Reallypeople! I’d strongly advise you to NOT send in such an essay. Many adcom members, men (I hope) as well as women, would consider that inappropriate and toss you right into the “no” pile. I’m sure you can come up with a witty but appropriate topic. Good luck!

Catch their attention? One thing adcoms look for is your judgment- shows through in choice of topics, development and more. In fact, in every answer. I am not sure adult adcoms, with your college future resting in their hands, would be impressed you chose boobs- and then allowed yourself to continue with that choice. What does it tell them? Think about it.

Chances are, this will seem off and make adcoms question your judgment. When in doubt, remind yourself, “It’s my college application.”

I smell a ■■■■■ ;-)

Male objectifying a woman’s body, sounds like a winner .

p.s. for adults the word is breasts.

I’d also say that its a no go.
