<p>I am a current Stanford freshman who did SUMaC. There are 7 other freshman who did SUMaC the year I did.</p>
<p>I did SUMaC but got rejected by Stanford.
However, I need to add that I am an international applicant. I think all those SUMaC people who applied as internationals this year were rejected. There were some really smart guys, though - but international admissions is really tough.</p>
<p>there were 10 admits for this years pool. one was rejected scea. that person called in to ask why and they said that they weren't going to take all the SUMaC students. its very possible that the sumac applicants were compared against each other in the freshman admission process. don't know why. but they probably dont want sumac to be an shoo-in program for stanford applicants. so if you're thinking about sumac JUST for stanford then you probably shouldnt.</p>

<p>when you're talking about all these sumac students, did they do it before becoming high school JUNIORS or high school SENIORS</p>
