Summer ACT Prep Thread

Okay, there are numerous posts about SAT... so I'm guessing ACT is less popular. However, that's what I need to get done!

Any prep schedules?

What's the best prep book for ACT out there?

I've taken it three times... first was a 23 [ouch], then a 26, then a 26 again... and I refuse to believe I've "leveled out".... I'm taking it one last time and my goal is a 30+. And I will get it! I've got three months to prepare and I am motivated. Yep.

The only problem is I need the materials to prep with! Any ideas?

Get the real ACT prep book by the ACT makers for the tests they have. Helped me quite a bit.

can anybody help me!

can i just memorizedall the science formulas, theories, and concepts before taking the real test, so i don't need to read those science passages when taking the real test = save time = hopefully a 36!

for reading, what are the best strategies? please help....i always run out of time

math is ok.......

english, any good book for idiom, grammar, of usage?

^I don't really think your method is going to work for the science method... sorry

for reading, just read a lot over the summer. Really, the only way to finish reading is to concentrate the whole time (ignore the massive migraine you get from it!) and keep on going.. I don't really know what else to say about it (the first time I took it, I ran out of time.. ehh sucks)

do anybody has speed reading method?

oh yeah, plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
reading is so hard! how can you finish 4 passages and 40 questions in 35 minutes?
within 35 minutes, i barely finished the first two passages, and I missed like one-third of it!
I really need help!
