So, it is the summer before my senior year in high school, and I'm trying to come up with a few activities that will provide good experience as well as boost my college app. As of now, I'm going to be participating in the Let's Get Ready SAT prep program, participating in the TEMPO music program, volunteering in a strings program for elementary aged kids, and taking cello lessons at a local music school. I've applied for 5 or 6 jobs already and have had no luck. Is it worth looking into getting a job for the summer (probably mcdonalds, dd, etc.)? Or does this summer program seem sufficient? On top of these listed activities, I'm also going to be preparing my college app essays and doing research on what schools I might apply to. Thanks in advance for any help!
