<p>I applied to two different summer camps and got accepted to the one which is my second choice. I need to confirm my intent to participate by this Friday. But my first choice camp will announce the result Friday next week. What should I do?</p>
<p>Call your first choice and ask for an early decision, assuming they do not explicitly tell you not to. Tell them that you would love to go and would gladly attend if admitted, but you must give your answer to your second choice by X date.</p>
