Has anyone taking summer courses divided into A-term and B-term.. I'm in the Political Science department and want to take one pols class with Spanish 102 for A-term, and I want to take a pols with Spanish 103 B-term.. That would put me at 20 credits for the entire summer -right? I've never done this before so I would love some insight on experiences and anything really that you can tell me! I am on FinAid and plan on taking 15 at the very least.

That’s a lot of work…will they let you enroll for the 102 and 103 sequentially like that?

I read somewhere that student can take only 18 credits at max. So I think you should check it out ^_^

Naw, 20 is the max. I’m taking 20 this quarter. Unless there is something different for the Summer.

I know that the full time tuition is flat rate for 10-18 credits, I had to pay extra for the other 2.

taking 20 credits during the 8 week summer quarter is BRUTAL. I’ve done it before, and I did well…but i gave up any ounce of free time or life for those 8 weeks

You’ve all given me a lot to think about.

Travlgrl: did you divide that up by a term and bterm? Or, was it 20 credits through the entire summer term (meaning full term or C term)

It was at community college where there was no A term or B term

15 credits of spanish with a final for each section (101,102,etc) every 2.5 weeks
5 credits astronomy over the 8 weeks

at UW last summer I just did 1 a-term class and 1 b-term class. I could’ve done more, but I wouldn’t have the time to have a life and a high gpa

@travelgirl: was it at Seattle Central?

yep 10char

Tuvo Dav
