I wasn’t able to get into a the math 1b class I wanted to next semester so I have to take it during the summer. I was thinking it would be useless to just take one class, so how hard will be to take an r&c class along with math 1b?

Also, is it true that a class like math 1b would be easier during the summer? I’ve heard people say that the smaller classes really make it better, but I’m worried about the pace.

have you taken calc bc before? math 1b isn’t too hard if you’re comfortable doing integrals and series since that’s pretty much 75% of the class.
you can try taking an R&C class in the first 6 week session and math 1b in the 8 week session so that at most, you only have 2 weeks of overlapping class.

He was pretty good, pretty clear lectures, doable tests, weekly quizzes from assigned problem sets. I’m not sure about the lab since I didn’t take that over the summer, but as far as I heard from some friends, it didn’t seem bad at all. Just put your time into it and you’ll do fine.

Chem 3B/L is a very good class to take over summer IMO. It is pretty time consuming but not as ridiculous as taking Bio 1A/L. Viernes is great and you avoid having to take Chem 3B with Vollhardt.
