If UCF offered you summer admission (and then you can continue in the fall), does anyone know how many credits you are required to take?

Not sure what is required but MOST kids take two classes (6 credits) during summer B.

Thanks again, seiclan!

guess this also falls under summer credits...

It says on all the course guide sheets that at least one summer with 9 credit hours is required before or after your first year. However, there are a lot of people that have AP credits and are stretching electives as it is to make up the first two years for an AA anyway.

So... if we have enough credit AP wise and with CLEP testing, do they still require us to do a summer?

Infeatheredeyes,
No, they don't require you to do a summer if you have enough with AP and CLEP. Once you have your myUCF portal set up, and UCF has all of your AP scores, etc... you can go on there and do a degree audit. It'll tell you what conditions for graduation you have already met and what you still have to do. It will be tailored to the degree you've chosen. When my S started UCF this past fall he had 29 hrs AP and CLEP credit, and the summer status showed up as "okay" on the degree audit.

thanks, zebes.

I wouldn't mind the summer term, it's just that Bright Futures doesn't pay for it...
