<p>I would love to hear personal experiences from flute players about summer festivals. The flute world is so different from the string experience, so I'm interested to hear about places first-hand.</p>
<p>I hear the Julius Baker masterclass in Danbury, CT is great. I know Jeffrey Khaner and Gary Schocker were among some of the faculty.</p>
<p>I have attended the Oberlin Flute Institute- 1 week program w/ Michel Debost and Kathleen Chastain; Gary Schocker Summer Masterclass- 1 week w/Gary Schocker, Skidmore Summer Flute Institute/ 1 week w/ Jan Vinci and many guest artists- Mark Vinci, Jeff Khaner…look on skidmore’s website</p>
