I wanted to know if Summer housing is the same/more/less/ expensive than normal room and board at AU than the fall and spring semester? I know since its DC there’s going to be a lot to do but do a lot of students stay on campus during the summer?
Contact the AU Housing office for rates. I think only students with summer internships in DC would have an interest in staying on campus for the summer. DC is an expensive place to live.
AU’s Housing and Dining Programs website offers something called “Intern Housing” over the summer, but the prices look pretty bad.

You can check it out for yourself ^
I see that the Terrace Dining Room is open for those staying on campus during the summer, but I’ll add that most students are sick to death of the food there (it’s not great) after one semester and would be horrified at the thought of eating there year-round. It’s not cheap, either.
