As a rising junior, I have come across a lot of banks that only accept rising seniors as interns or internship programs that accept juniors but are very very competitive. Can you please help me and list some banks that accept rising juniors with credentials like mine?

I am a sophomore at a LAC (top 25) and I am double majoring in Math and Economics. My GPA is as follows- Cumulative: 3.5; Econ: 3.8; Math: 3.6. I worked as a research assistant for an economics professor my freshman year and I completed an internship with a boutique investment firm over the fall semester. I am also a part of a Division 3 Varsity team.

Also, I am taking a ton of upper level math courses that are pretty tough. Thus, the lowish Math GPA. I have already done Calculus 3, Ordinary Differential Equations, Partial Differntial Equations, Linear Algebra and Probability & Statistical Modelling. I plan on doing Real Analysis, Topology, Abstract Algebra and upper level stats courses over the next two and a half years. Do you think banks take the rigour of undergraduate courses into account when making a decision? Would they prefer a straight economics or finance major with a 3.8- 3.9 GPA over a Math, Econ Double major with a 3.5 cumulative GPA?
