I am currently a high school sophomore, but being young for my grade I will not be 16 until August of 2017, after summer. I am really interested in medicine - particularly neuroscience - and I have been looking for a summer internship or research opportunity related to that. All of the ones I have found require a minimum age of 16 for eligibility. Am I looking in the wrong place or do these programs not exist for students under 16?
