<p>Hi, I'm a college freshman and am looking for possible medical opportunities this summer in the Baltimore/Washington area. An opportunity to shadow a doctor (preferably not in an office) or get some real experience in a hospital would be great. Are there any doctors out there looking for an interested and hard working summer intern? Or does anyone have any advice? THANK YOU!</p>
<p>Call the hospitals (Some of them work through the volunteer department). I'll be shadowing at either Union Memorial, Good Sam, or GBMC in Baltimore this summer. </p>
<p>However, try to shadow doctors in multiple settings. Make sure you do shadow at least one in an office.</p>
