<p>I'm a freshman vocal music ed major in college and I am looking for a short(around two weeksish?) music camp/program to do over this summer. I am interested in an opera program, but I don't know if there are any short ones for two weeks. Low cost is a bonus and northeast region would be nice. Also, what music/opera opportunities are there for young college singers? Thanks so much everyone.</p>
<p>I know of one summer program in Atlanta. It is at Georgia State University. There are some good instructors there. It is called the Harrower Opera Workshop, named after a wonderful Bass-Baritone from Atlanta. Check it out at harroweropera.org.<br>
I see a typo, the length of the program. It is from 6/2 - 6/22.</p>
<p>The hawaii performing arts festival is a great 3 week program that really works well with baritones and basses. Last year Ricky Ian Gordon was the composer in residence and this year Stephen Schwartz will probably be the composer in residence</p>
