Summer Orientation - from Detriot Metro Airport to South Quad

My summer orientation is in two days, and I'll be flying tomorrow. What's the best way to get from the airport to Ann Arbor - South Quad. Blue Cab? Michigan Flyer? Other choices?

And do reservations have to be made beforehand?

I believe there is shuttle services that take you directly from the airport to the Michigan campus. Current undergrads need to chip in here.

i used ann arbor airport shuttle. its called something along those lines. its very cheap and very good. during the year UofM has a service. its just during the summer they dont run it. but if you look up the ann arbor tourist website (the official website) there is a list of shuttle services as well

Thank you for your inputs. I’ll see what’s the best option for me.

We’ve used the Michigan Flyer a few times and it’s pretty good. Also inexpensive. They let you off at the Sheraton in Ann Arbor, so you have to take a cab from there to campus (it’s not far, so it doesn’t cost much).

I use custom transit, [Custom Transit](http://www.customtransit.com). They wait for you right at your arrival gate and drop you off right at your dorm.

The rates get cheaper as a bigger group calls for a shuttle.

hey I used the Michigan Flyer, it was OK except I missed it the first time because it is in a weird place at the Detroit airport, if you take it just make sure you know where it will be because I’m pretty sure it doesn’t say “Michigan Flyer” on the side.
