Summer plans (Seniors)?

What are you soon to be college freshman doing this summer?

My D is going to Egypt on a school trip for 10 days, and then will go back to her job at a restaurant until leaving for college. If the trip hadn't interfered with class schedule, she would have also taken one or two community college classes that would transfer to her major.

I'm moving with my family at the end of this month. After that, I'm getting a job and saving up as much money as I can for when school rolls around in August.

agreed...must..make..money =(

possibly a Raytheon internship but more than likely teaching assistant at a local school/daycare

Lots and ltos of cycling.

Family vacation to China and lots of nothing.

nothing. absolutely nothing.

I'll be at the Math/Science Regional Center also known as Math/Science Upward Bound. Has anyone hard of either programs or is in one?

Work. To earn money for that college place.

work for money or try for an internship somewhere on in DC. One of my friends has one on Capital hill so that would be great but I thikn I also might try at a court house, i want to do business but I think it would be a lot of fun.

work to earn enough money so i can spend the school year partying every night.

a law firm internship (just for $$) and maybe campaigning for a state assemblywoman

ugh i have 2 jobs, about 25-30 hrs per week total. i hope not having a social life this summer is worth being loaded next year

25-30 hours a week won't inhibit your social life that much. Some people have 25-30 hr a week jobs during the school year.

Stuck at home. My parents want me to get a job, but I live in a really rural area so walking to work isn't a possibility and I don't have a car. My mom works and my dad isn't reliable transportation so I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place. I really wanted to get a math over with a community college too >.<

Vacation in China; catching up on leisure reading; writing; volunteering; packing bags.

working 2 jobs and in the middle of that spending 2 weeks in germany/austria for school

Losing some weight and bulking the first month. Going to Canada the second month. Hopefully doing some odd jobs for friends/family to make a bit of extra money the 3rd month.

running/hitting the gym for lacrosse next year....working....going to Florida....and plenty of hours in front of the tv watching the World Cup! Lets go Holland

Hopefully when I graduate college I'll be able to actually buy a ticket and go to South Africa

I plan on working this summer.

I don't have a job yet, but I do hope I get one.
