Hi all! I was just wondering if anyone could recommend any summer programs who will take just-graduated seniors? I applied to a few last year/looked into many, but they were all to some extent geared toward college audition prep/the rising senior - although depending on my acceptances and how everything shakes out, I could be hitting the audition process again next year (yikes.)
Anyhow, I am graduating this year, and it’s possible I may choose to stay busy with local stuff and get a job to save up for school, but was hoping to apply to a few training programs (acting or MT) for the summer to have that as an option for furthering my training before freshman year of college. Any suggestions?
TPAP (The Performing Arts Project) & BTP (the Broadway Theatre Project) both go beyond high school through college and would give you what you’re looking for I think. Good luck!
There are a wide variety of options for post-grad study options, it just depends on what skills you’re hoping to sharpen. Interlochen’s musical theatre program has a post grad year. And The Boston Conservatory’s Musical Theatre Dance Intensive also accepts students in college. The Performing Arts Project’s students are 16-24, so it too is a great post HS option.
