Please post your experiences with the JHU Summer Programs. Considering the Discover Hopkins program. How were the lectures/workshops? Living conditions? Social/extracurricular activities? Were the attendees mostly rising Soph, Jr or Sr?

I did pre-college, and it was a blast. Professors were amazing, and there was never a dull moment. The RA's and directors of the program had a lot of optional activities going on literally every night, and there were a lot of excursions to beaches, D.C., etc. All of the kids there were enthusiastic and dedicated to learning the college level material. Most were rising seniors, though there were a few rising juniors and even a couple incoming freshman. If you get the chance to do it, it'll be worth your time.

I went last year. Best experience of my life. So fun.. value the moments, they don't last as long as you think they will.
