Hello! I will be a rising senior this summer, and in my future I plan on going to law school. Most forums have math/science programs like RSI, and I would MUCH rather go to any social science, law, leadership, etc program (not business or journalist/writing type ones though). I also need them to be free, or at least less than $1000.

-I prefer to do a few one to two week programs every summer, but I'm willing to stay up to a month.
-I'm open to internships too

If you have ANY suggestions, please let me know.

Hi funsizedjas, I did a separate post about a program in DC called the St. Albans School of Public Service that might be something you’d want to look at.

I am sort of thinking I might like to go to law school too some day and this program was pretty cool because, although it had a wider government/public policy/leadership angle, we also did some law-related things like do a mock Supreme Court argument of a current case (we did a case about whether a state could ban violent video games) and have a one-on-one session with a US Supreme Court judge! We also used the “case study method” in classroom discussions which is what they do in law school. It’s a four week program and it wasn’t free but it seemed like they offered a lot of financial aid (kids in my program were on full and partial scholarships).
