<p>I have a son who is a current HS Sophmore. He would like to go to a summer program that has excellent programs in one or more of the following:</p>
<p>-political science
-public policy
-international relations</p>
<p>Ideas?</p>
<p>look into Yale’s Young Global Scholars</p>
<p>I went to Summer@Brown as a rising junior it was a lot of fun and very intellectually challenging in and outside of the classroom. All the people there are smart and interesting and most are international ! If he does go this summer he might my french friend who lives in Korea and my other french friend who lives in England hahaha I recommended them so i’m pretty sure they’ll go… But yeah, that’s just a snippet of the amazing cultural landscape at <a href=“mailto:Summer@Brown”>Summer@Brown</a>. There is also the Leadership Institute (more focused on issues for the future etc.) which is smaller and a bit further away from the main campus (10 mns walk?) and in uglier buildings etc. The Leadership students are kinda reclused because both their classes and dorms are separate from the main campus area…
I would definitely recommend S@B ! I took two classes (one in the morning and one in the afternoon) and I still had the time to make hundreds of friends from all over the world whom I still talk to, go to Boston, Newport, Sx Flags, concerts, dinners, parties etc.</p>
