Summer programs: start looking IN WINTER

Reading this a few years after the last update; still very relevant. Love the last piece of advice:
“Most important thing to remember: what you get out of a program/summer experience is what you make of it.”

This requires a positive and flexible approach for some students who don’t enroll in their dream program, but making the best of what others may not consider an ideal situation will help in admissions and even beyond.

Great attitude towards all areas of life!

I’m currently a HS freshman and looking to do some summer programs in Colorado. I’m looking for physics/chemistry/ or math programs for this summer. Does anyone know of any good ones that are relatively cheap?

Are there any summer programs for rising sophomores relating to health sciences

Check out Stanford’s programs, @virus0987. I believe SIMR is probably one of the most prestigious biomedical programs to date (but is for juniors and seniors, so not relevant for now). But there are a lot of programs offered by the university that is based around medicine.
