I loved wuthering heights!!!!! That's one of my favorite books...Wicked is also good, I would recommend that. If you've seen the musical, though, you'll be surprised at how completely different the book is.

For some reason I only have to read 4 books, compared to last year's 10. I'm happy becuase I have a ton of other books I want to read.

Ralph Nader Reader
The Importance of Being Earnest
To The Lighthouse
...We had to choose out of a list. Plus my college essays and a 250 AP Bio packet. Blah.

I love reading in general, but we always get stuck with the most boring books for assignments. I guess it doesn't help that I leave them for the week before school starts...

We have read/watch all, but pick 1 movie and 1 book to do a 2-3 page report for each. There is also a test on all things read/watched.

I didn't know there was a movie for -A Tree Grows in Brooklyn-. It's one of my favorite books, so I'd love to see a movie for it, unless it's one of those really awful adaptations.

John Steinbeck is a great author. You should be happy, that's a famous book too. My school requires you to read 2 of any books of your interest. No Reading list :).
