Summer Schedule is Up

schedule.berkeley.edu still say Summer 08 on the image, but the data is all for summer 09.

Thanks! ■■■!!! It says that Urnov is teaching MCB 102?!? I thought Bowman usually teaches it! Ahhh doesn’t he teach genetics? Damn does this mean its not gonna be as easy like other summers? =/

I’m guessing Bowman will teach the first half (biochemistry, metabolism) because she’s good at it and that Urnov will teach the second half (genetics stuff) because last year’s instructor really sucked in terms of teaching, but her exams were pretty easy. I would say they would probably have the same open-note structure, but expect harder exams from Urnov.

When are we usually able to start adding summer classes?
Are telebears times also given or is it just like a free for all?

No telebears appointment. You are free to sign up starting in February using telebears.
[Registration opens in February | Berkeley Summer Sessions](http://summer.berkeley.edu/registration/registration-form/registration-opens-february)

If we sign up for classes and later drop them, are we charged a fee?

if you drop all the classes you are signed up for, you lose $100 i believe, well that was in the past; i wouldn’t be surprised if it went up

So if the class ends on 8/13, that means the final is going to be on the 13th for all classes? Dumb question, I guess.

^
yea usually.

Quick question: If I take one 4-unit upper div political science course during session A, and TWO 4-unit upper div poli sci courses during Session D… for a total of 12 units for the entire summer, would that be too much? I had originally planned to take one of these PS courses next Spring but well, ya know, s*** happens (and by s***, I mean “Tele-BEARS”.)

I’m graduating in the summer, so I don’t have to worry about overloading on summer sessions before the Fall semester… since I won’t be having a Fall 2010.
