dang. so fast.

it is not official until monday though, so some stuff may be dropped or added.

YAY!!! I have been waiting so long!!!

OP, do you work at the registrar? It’s just a question out of curiosity, so you don’t have to answer. But you do seem to know a LOT about the system for a student.

Nope, I just know too much lol. Every November, March, and October I check the schedule of classes every day to see if the Summer, Fall, or Spring schedules, respectively, are updated.

I was told by a peer adviser that nothing is official until Monday though.

I just have a tendency to know too much about school administration.

The school should pay you or something.

next year, I am being drafted as an IB peer adviser, so then I will finally get some unit credit for my advising

I’m graduating this semester (it’s already my +1), but there are classes in the graduate division that I want to take. Boo, I don’t think I’ll ever run out of those!

Thanks anon5524485, even though I feel I’m well on top of things for courses and administrative stuff, I always seem to forget that they post Fall courses in mid-March. I always remember to keep a look out for Spring semester courses, but it’s probably because I’m more looking forward to the summer than fall semester haha.

Ugh. I can’t believe Poli Sci 2 isn’t offered this semester. I thought it was offered every semester.

me too! i needed poli sci 2 so badly for a breadth/pub health lower div. plus my cc doesnt offer it over summer.

grrrr.

public health allows you to use AP US gov scores as a lower div social science requirement.

tomorrow it becomes official, not sure if that means tomorrow morning or at midnight.

stly: didnt have ap gov @hs

^
It’s probably at 7am cause they take it down from 2am-7am. which probably is when they update the database?

Question for declared majors: Do you guys usually know what classes (in your major) are offered for the following semester before it is put up on the OSOC (schedule.berkeley.edu)? Just curious cause that’s how my department does it.

i think it upadates 6am

thats when finals were posted and when bearfacts updates too

I think MCB generally has the same classes every semester at the same time slot so if you look at the old schedules, you can “predict” your new schedule.

@ kchen, I am a IB + Latin double
IB. IB lists when each course is next expected on their website so, yes
Latin, Latin 100, 101 are offered every semester, 102 is offered every spring, but other than that everything is unknown unless you ask a professor.
