<p>Hi, </p>
<p>Just a short question. Is every grades going to be taken into account(when you calculate GPA for law school), regardless if some of those were taken from other institutes? I hope it's not..because I didn't really do well.</p>

<p>All grades in all college-level coursework taken before the receipt of an undergraduate degree will be counted in the LSAC GPA. This includes summer coursework, regardless of where it is taken, as well as college courses taken while in high school.</p>
<p>The LSAC website will provide you with more details, if you are interested in finding out more information.</p>
<p>Thanks. But is it also true if summer courses are taken from foreign institution?
I’m an international UG student in US and will be graduating here. I took about 5 courses from institution in my country and not sure if I still have to send trascripts from those foreign institutes.
This is confusing because while [Frequently</a> Asked Questions - LSDAS](<a href=“http://www.lsac.org/AboutLSAC/faqs-and-support-lsdas.asp#gpa-different]Frequently”>http://www.lsac.org/AboutLSAC/faqs-and-support-lsdas.asp#gpa-different)
says that transcripts from every college level institute attended must be sent,
[Requesting</a> Transcripts](<a href=“http://www.lsac.org/Applying/lsdas-requesting-transcripts.asp]Requesting”>http://www.lsac.org/Applying/lsdas-requesting-transcripts.asp)
says that "Do not have a transcript sent from a foreign institution if your undergraduate degree is from a US, US Territory, or Canadian school, AND:
the total amount of work you completed at all foreign institutions combined is equal to or less than the equivalent of one year of undergraduate study in the US, its territories, or Canada, OR
your work was completed through an overseas study program that was clearly sponsored by a US, US Territory, or Canadian school. "
Can anyone clarify this?</p>
<p>From what LSAC is saying, it seems like you wouldn’t have to submit a transcript, if you took only five courses. Though if your college has grades listed for the classes on your transcript (even if they don’t count toward your GPA at the school), I think LSAC might still include them. You could probably ask someone at LSAC about it if it’s not clear.</p>
<p>I’m also wondering about the “clearly sponsored” language in the last sentence. Do US and Canadian schools covertly sponsor study abroad programs?</p>
