<p>I UPS’d in my application earlier today, but my physics teacher’s rec is going to get there late - she had a recent family emergency that made it difficult for her to write the rec on time.</p>
<p>I feel like the quality of my essays is going to dash my chances of getting in. I typed super bland essays last Sunday and fixed them up last night…my first essay was epic but things went downhill from there as I became more sleepy @_@</p>
<p>I just hope my application is reviewed despite the late recs : D</p>

I wouldn’t think so. It might just be that people have had all their question answered from reading the last few years worth of threads. 2011 did almost make it to 500 posts.</p>
<p>Threads like Clark Scholars 2012 had lots of questions about the application and program. SSP’s application was easier to understand what was wanted and deal with formatting, and a good chuck of program information came from SSP almuni in 2011.</p>

Just got my confirmation e-mail tonight, at about 2240. The admins are either night-hawks or working really hard to get through all the apps. Big “thank you” to them!</p>

<p>I did, but it seems like they give a lot of weighting to the essays anyway.</p>
<p>You could ask if you could send in a supplement now, the deadline wasn’t too long ago.</p>

<p>I think they have accepted a handful of sophomores in the past, but the chances are pretty slim.</p>
