@gkdudtlffj I did.
@gkdudtlffj I applied to that! The decision will come out on Apr 3rd. But I really want to get into SSP, SSTP Iowa is more expensive and has fewer scholarships.
There’s still like 3 weeks before admissions. Why is it so long! D:
Do you guys know of any other summer programms to which I can still submit my application? International enrollment is full, I emailed Richard Bowdon and he said so. I guess SSP’s a no go then.
Cornell is still doin it’s thing
There’s a Pioneer Academics program that I think is still open. It pairs students w/ professors from prestigious universities to do research. It’s online though, you can look that up.
Honestly I am really nervous for SSTP. My essays weren’t really prepared at all and really last minute. It’s not as good compared to my SSP essays. SSTP admission officers said I couldn’t even turn in my 10th-grade transcripts because my semester ended at mid february and the deadline was early february So I am really nervous about that. I know that SSTP is WAY less competitive compared to SSP but I might get lucky. who knows D: 4-5 days left.
Does anyone know when the admissions decisions are going to come out? I’m getting super nervous about that and YSPA.
April 11 last year.
Best of luck to everyone!
Sigh…
Ten-ish days… incredibly anxious. really want to get in, but also scared I won’t. Oh well. Good luck to all
I just became alternate for another program I applied to(which is supposed to be less competitive). I’m quite certain that I won’t get into SSP as well.
I got alternate for a program but I expected it because bad essay and lack of transcripts. Hopefully I would get accepted to SSP because I made my essay super perfect. The disadvantage is that I am a sophomore…
@gkdudtlffj Being a sophomore makes it literally impossible for SSP… good luck nevertheless :).
When do you think decisions will come out?
@physicsfuture 4/11-15 or so probz
@physicsfuture I think, since they came out on April 11th last year (a Monday), they’ll come out on April 10th (also a Monday).
@Cri007 I know an Astronomy SSP alumni from last year that told me that there were 3 sophomores in at the New Mexico campus. I am applying to biochemistry so hopefully, there will be more selections of sophomores because it’s their first year…
@gkdudtlffj Yep hopefully you’ll have a better chance then This wait is killing me though…
