Thanks, Ahra :) I got a 7 on my essay last time, and I know I'm not a bad writer... 5 paragraphs... thats intro, 3 examples, and conclusion? ... just checking grins

and of course we'll all be very good friends!

yeah.. standardized tests... ew. I just went through every vocabulary flashcard I've made in the last six years. It took about as many hours...

I'm really opposed to timed tests, because people work at different paces, and yeah. I know there are deadlines in life, and thats the arguement teacher always use, but I think its a pretty lame arguement. Nothing wrong with deadlines... I just don't like times tests that are intentionally made so you have just hardly enough time to finnish, if you work quickly.

We always called them the "flat right hand rule" and the "curved right hand rule" Its always kind of tricky because my physics teacher always refers to North and South and East and West in terms of actual location, like the front of the room is East, and the wall with the door is South. Its pretty tough to reorient myself when I'm at home doing homework. Not that I ever do any physics homework at home... I always do it during class. I wish I could have taken AP this year, as the honors class moves pretty slowly.

Hmm, back to the original topic... about the Harvard SSP... how often does soemone get accepted into the program? what are the usual "criteria" they look for? i have no idea what it's like... or what the application is like (i'm starting it now).

well, there is no point of starting a new thread with only 2 weeks left, and, besides, i wanted this thread to reach 30 pages before we get to Socorro blushes
:)

Just keep breathing, and yeah. Just keep breathing. Its just a test.

Though my study habits have been rather poor today... I went on a field trip to DC, and studied for maybe an hour of the ride up there, and maybe fifteen minutes of the way back. The trip was great though! I wish I'd had more time at the air and space museum... I love that place. I had to visit 3 museums though, in 4 hours, so I did a half hour at National Gallery of Art (the old section), half hour at the American History Museum, an hour and a half at the air and space museum, a half hour playing with the toys in the air and space museum gift shop... grins... then what time I had left in the Botanical Garden. It ended up being a lot of walking though... so I got home and watched "Footloose" which is an 80s chick flick with a typically vapid plot, but excellent dance sequences!

And now I'm going to bed to get a good nights rest before my SATs. And I'm going to remember to bring my watch and my calculator and my admissions ticket to the test tomorow. And a pencil.

lucky you Petter :)
mine are in 1.5 hours :(

:)

and, in case you'll visit us before your SAT Ahra, i have to give you my peace of advice :)

just pretend you like physics, throw all fear out of your head, pretend to confident, and you'll see that you'll get AT LEAST 800 ;)
good luck! :)
