Summer session, does it help with getting into Uchicago?

wow.. that's cool.. i'm kind of a nerd physically in that i am athletically challenged.. and so i ran cross country for 4 years for better lack of balance and coordenation

I ran in middle school and rather enjoyed it. It is the physical activity that seems to come most naturally to all of us.

I recommend swing dance/lindy if you come here. I currently am involved in it, and it lets me dance without being stringent, the way ballet is.

What is Cross Country?

cross country is long distance running, (3 mile races only)

bailey1116: Go to China for the summer and take classes there. It is cheaper. As I mentioned above, that is what my S did the summer prior to his senior year.

i dont think thats its the physical act of GOING to the summer camp, as it is getting a letter of RECOMMENDATION < Thats the key, asking your UofC professor to put a couple of sentences down on UofC stationary...

I received a rec from the prof of the course I took, as well as one from one of the TAs. I was accepted, but I think my grade in the course and the fact that I was taking a not-too-common course helped as well.

what courses were you taking?
