Summer Session Housing

<p>UCR offers summer classes and gives the option to live on campus or off campus, but do students usually dorm on campus or off campus during the summer? Which is the better or cheaper option? </p>

<p>Also, how many units or sessions do students usually take over the summer? To qualify for summer aid, I need at least 12 units, and my friend said that it's too much to try to squeeze 12 units into a single session and suggested spanning out the units over 2 sessions, is this what students usually do?</p>

<p>If you think you can handle 12 units in a single unit, just do it. Living off campus is cheaper.</p>
