So I have a futon in my townhouse on campus, and I can't really bring it home for the summer, but obviously want to use it next year. Anyone know how to store things on campus/near campus over the summer to use the following year? (Large items, like a futon...)

You could use Big Red Storage or a similar service.

Big Red Storage is a division of Student Agencies. Their office is on College Ave, a few doors down from Collegetown Bagels. [Student Agencies, Inc. - Welcome](http://www.studentagencies.com)

I spent more hours at SAI than I did in the library. Well, almost…

My son used Big Red Storage last summer. It was certainly convenient, and his stuff was already in his room when he arrived on campus. However, several items were broken – mostly small items, but including his electronic keyboard. I’m sure a futon would be okay, but I would definitely make sure anything potentially breakable is very well packed and secure. I’m not sure what he will do this summer. He’ll only need to store his stuff for a couple of weeks, before his apartment lease begins.
