has anyone been, how selective etc etc

It's a good program. It's selective on the criteria announced on its website

Davidson Gifted ~ THINK Summer Institute - Qualifications

but not impossible to get into. I know some alumni of the progam, and they liked it. Some went back for a second year.

if you have the scores how selective is it, how many people apply, they accept 60 students

I'm not sure how many people apply. That's a rarely published figure about most summer programs.

I went to THINK two summers ago. I think it was a great program -- you get to take two college classes and get college credit (with amazing professors), hang out with kids that are really smart, and you get to live in Reno for three weeks.
Selectivity--I think its pretty self-selective (the kids who apply know they are fairly intelligent). But there are also cut-off SAT scores and such, and they only accept 60 kids (48 when I went), so I guess it's medium-ly selective.
But I would totally recommend it! :)
