<p>Does anyone have any experience with SURPS/SURFS in the NYC area? NYU, Columbia AMGEN, Rockefeller SURF, Sloan-Kettering, Albert Einstein, etc.? Supposedly these programs are really really competitive (and I can see why--$$$stipend + housing + awesome research!), and was wondering if anyone knows what it takes to get in. </p>
<p>Also, since I can't really count on getting into any of these, does anyone know any noncompetitive research programs in NYC that offer housing? Or maybe ones that don't? Or, if not research programs, maybe ones that offer clinical experience? Maybe something like shadowing a doctor, or something. Thanks!</p>
