Summer Venture in Science and Math acceptance thread......

<p>i'm going to WCU june 17- july 14th.</p>

<p>anyone know what they're studying there?
cuz mine didn't say anything about what i'm doing.</p>

<p>Mine says that I'm going to do the 'field biology' thing at WCU!</p>

<p>thats cool.
mine says "mathematics and problem solving".
i'm still not sure if i wanna go.
i do want too.
but i'm not really sure if i'd like it there.</p>

<p>I've no other choice really, unless I want to volunteer or do some summer job! So, I have to go, sorta! :D</p>

<p>haha. that doesn't sound fun.
btw. i have officially decided i am going.
my friends think its a waste of my summer but i think it'd be fun.
and plus my dad REALLY wants me to go.
i mean he's willing to drive 6 hours out of his way to take me there.</p>

<p>Do you live in the Raleigh area? The drive is harsh, I never fully realized how wide NC is...</p>

<p>As for me, it'll be like 4 hour 45 min drive! :(</p>

<p>Anyway, does anybody know whether we can choose to do something else at WCU (I need some strong base in Math b4 going to NCSSM rather than doing the Bio thing which I'm already pretty good at) ?? anyone?</p>

<p>not really sure you can do that.
i actually wish i did something in the science area then in the math. lol.
i think you can have your university changed... but i'm not sure.
my friend was suppose to come with me to WCU but his changed to NCCU.
i'm not really sure though.</p>

<p>not really. i live in fayetteville. the drive is about 6 HOURS!
i didn't think NC was that wide either. :(</p>
