Does this seem like a suitable application?

Living in Asheville should not affect your chances on getting accepted. You also have to include the volunteering work, if you did any. But overall, you seem to have a good chance at getting accepted.

Your chance are great! I actually knew a student from Asheville this past summer at Summer Ventures. Your course load looks impressive as well. All I can say now is to work on perfecting those essays and then let SVSM decide the rest.

And what @JonTargaryen said is completely true. In fact, SVSM works to accept a diverse pool of students so your area can only help you.
