<p>Hi, I just found this thread and I’m going to UNC-C and got mathematical evolutions. I know the food an everything is paid, however do we need to bring school supplies like paper and pencils???</p>
<p>Hello Cole96, I am attending Summer Ventures at UNC-C as well. I think we do need to take school supplies as well as $100+ for spending money.</p>

<p>Yes, I heard the same. I think they have not yet completed the whole “matching” for roommates. I agree, really glad I got my #1 choice, five hours of math everyday would kill me.</p>

<p>Awesome! I am good at math but I do not enjoy it. I am taking “Topics in Biology.” It is supposed to have a lot of labs and be the equivalent of a college Biology course.</p>
<p>I asked a friend who attended the SVSM at UNCC last year about the classroom supplies such as notebook papers and binders. He said he “thinks” they provided those things. Since we were not informed to bring any of the sort, maybe they will!
I just hope everything will be fun and enjoyable which I’m sure it will be. can’t wait to meet ya all there in two weeks!</p>
<p>Anddd btw, they said there isn’t going to be internet connection in our dorms, correct? I’m debating if I should purchase a laptop and bring it or not.</p>

<p>From what I have heard there isn’t any. I have my own wifi at home so maybe I can connect it in the dorm.</p>

<p>hmm so I got a letter in the mail, but no email like mlover15 did. and i wasn’t assigned roommates either. btw are there even such things as “roommates” at uncc - shouldn’t it be suite-mates like the letter said? (4 ppl to a suite)</p>
<p>i attended another camp at uncc a few years ago, i don’t think they had wifi in the dorms but they did have a library where we could use comps. not sure if we get access to the library</p>

<p>I decided to purchase a new laptop. But since I’m ordering it online, I think it’s going to take a while and not get here in time!
They told me that there is no internet access in dorm, but there is in the library. We can use the computers in the library during free time.
I think I’m bringing mine for last two weeks.</p>
<p>Wow, that really stinks. Hopefully the library isn’t too far from the dorm.</p>
