I live in Charlotte; to be honest, there aren’t many things you can do in Charlotte over the summer. Concord Mills Mall is about 10 mins away, Carowinds is 15 mins away and Great wolf lodge is 5 mins away. Charlotte is pretty boring over the summer…
btw, fair warning UNCC is in the University area, which is not exactly the safest part of Charlotte

Ok thanks for the insight, ill be careful

Compared to the other campuses, UNCC is the best in terms of what you can do outside of class. I live close to APP and there’s literally is nothing to do in Boone unless you enjoy the outdoors, Greenville is a little better at ECU. There’s a mall that’s sub par and I believe you take one beach trip. I’m not too sure about NC Central.
Also, UNCC kids have the opportunity to go bowling, white water rafting at the US national center, daily trips to restaurants outside of campus, baseball games, put put, daily trips to concord mills and other malls for movies. You will not be bored at UNC Charlotte, I assure you. However, safety can be a bit of an issue. You are mandated to always have someone to walk with around campus. I did not experience any controversy while I was there but I did hear of a girl being stalked by someone. She did not have someone to walk with and quickly made her way to the library and called one of her friends to walk with her. It’s nothing to really worry about, you just have to be smart.

Okay thanks, ill keep this in mind

Thanks Nate42 the end of june is too far away but I can’t wait to go! It sounds like a lot of fun but ill keep in mind to be careful. It doesn’t sound like we will ever be bored.

Who is ready for the SAT this Saturday???

SO MANY CLOTHES TO PACK. I feel like I’m bringing my whole closet

lol, I probably will overpack too. But UNCC is a nearly month away. What campus are you packing for and when does it start?
