Summer... what should i do?

<p>Ok I applied to Carnegie Mellon Diversity Summer program but I was rejected... so I'm looking for things to do over the summer that will look good on COLLEGE APP.</p>

<p>I am planning to volunteer at a foodbank
work at a supermarket
and tutor.</p>

<p>What else should I do? or is this good enough?</p>

<p>I guess volunteer and paid jobs are both pretty good… But college admission officers care more about what you learn from the experience rather than the job/volunteer itself.</p>
