Summer

<p>as summer has started for most of you (not for me yet...darn exams!)...was wondering how every1 is planning on spending them before making that leap up to uni life. I reckon before every summer, I have a whole lot of things planned that I've always wanted to do, but when summer comes to an end, it was probably mainly between watching tv, sleeping and going out.</p>

<p>Plans for this summer:</p>

<p>1) Whole lot of shopping for september
2) Learn the guitar (learnt the piano for like 3 years but hated it)
3) Take french lessons
4) Catch up with all the latest movies
5) Take scuba diving lessons
6) Hang out a lot</p>

<p>1)shop for stuff (encore)
2)work
3)swim in ensuing money</p>

<p>1) major shopping for September
2) work to pay for it
3) watching a bunch of movies and tv as usual
4) taking some study skills classes (I'm not a nerd, I promise, which is why I have to take these classes)
5) get my driver's licence
6) get a smart serve (alcohol) licence
7) brush up on my French
8) brush up on all the math we did last year
9) read some classics that I've always wanted to read but never got the chance to in between the "Things Fall Apart" and the "Pride and Prejudice" we had to do for English.
10) catch up on sleep</p>

<p>I think that's about it...not so intersting, is it? wish I could've gone off to europe on vacation or something, but oh well. We'll save that for university.</p>

<p>1) Work.
2) Work some more.
3) Read the books I always wanted to but never got around to. Plus reread Harry Potter, because the new one is coming out. (Yes, I'm a loser.)
4) Buy things for school.
5) Outer Banks.
6) Eat a lot of crabs, hopefully, because I'm guessing they're not very popular in Canada.
7) Sleep. </p>

<p>julesi26... i'm assuming based on your location that you are referring to maryland blue crab... my father lives in maryland right on the bay and I spent my summers catching and eating them... I don't visit him anymore and oh how I miss it. The crabs I mean. <em>sigh</em></p>

<p>Crazychai...</p>

<p>"4. eat a crap load
5. run a crap load to work off the crap load that i ate"</p>

<p>...two rules I live by.
soooo those running trails look appetizing, eh? I know I got excited when taking my tour and I saw the map. I was half tempted to grab some of the croissant sandwiches they provided and take off for the trails, but I wanted to see New Rez. Good thing too, since I'll be living there. you too actually.</p>

<p>I run. what are these trails? I havent heard of them. And are they non-pavement? I have a thing about not running on pavement</p>

<p>there are trails? i was just thinking of running on the treadmill. i don't know if it's just me but running on a treadmill is so much easier than running on real road!</p>

<p>i hate treadmills. it's comparable to a rat running in a wheel.</p>

<p>lol i am a rat!</p>

<p>I do the treadmills as well. I'm a baby about the cold. (shut up shut up shut up. I know, Canada tends to be cold.) However, I prefer trail running. And Mont Royal has tons of trails. They have maps of the trails in the gym.</p>
