Can anyone tell me the difference between the Sunsations dance team and the Miami Hurricanettes at university of Miami? Is one better than the other? I want to be on a dance team but I’m not sure which one to tryout for?
I always thought one was the cheerleaders and one was dancers
Hurricanettes are dancers with the band, they dance at football games, and basketball ball games but they are mostly with the band. Sunsations are a regular dance team more like cheerleaders. Sunsations are at football and basketball games. Hope that helps :-h

i personally think the sunsations are more dance-oriented than the hurricanettes. the hurricanettes just shake around pretty much while the sunsations got to dance with the miami marlins dancers last week.
