SUNY Bing SOM or Macaulay Baruch

I’m torn between the school of management at Bing and Macaulay Honors College at Baruch. A little background information- I plan to study finance at either school. The two most important factors are social life and financial fit. Financially, Macaulay would give me a full ride while I would be paying ~15k a year for Bing.
For current students and alums, I have a few questions:

  1. How is the alumni network for your school?
  2. How are the networking events? Is it easy for you to get internships?
  3. How is social life?
  4. How is campus safety?
  5. If I want to transfer from either schools, which one will I have a better chance to transfer out of?
  6. Overall, how happy are you at your institution?

Both choices are equal in terms of alumni networking and finding jobs but the student experience will be vastly different. One school you will be dorming in upstate New York and the other is in the middle of nyc with basically no green space campus. Only you can decide if spending the extra 15k is worth it for you and your family.
