SUNY Buffalo or Wichita State?

College Majors Musical Theater Major

Hello CC members,

I would like to know the major differences between SUNY Buffalo and Wichita State’s MT program, or in-depth knowledge/personal experiences about each one. I’m not looking to get my degree there, just study a year there via NSE (National Student Exchange).

If there are any other NSE schools that have decent musical theatre programs you’d rather recommend, feel free to post them below.

I’m not only looking at performance/training opportunities on the school campus, but also possible opportunities off-campus as well (whether it be in Buffalo, Wichita, etc).

I can’t edit my post anymore, but I also was considering Plymouth State Uni! I’m not sure if this should be taken in consideration, but I am of asian descent.

You might inquire at University of Alabama, Western Kentucky University, and Texas State University. They are all part of NSE and all have good MT programs. I’m not sure if they’d accept a student into MT who was not planning to get their degree. But you can always ask!
