SUNY Fredonia

Hi, I have just been accepted to the Molecular Genetics program and I am wondering if anyone can give me any of their personal experience with the program, school, and the village. I feel like as I searched through the varying school's website and booklets I've received, there are very few minorities (African Americans specifically). Is this maybe just a poor projection of the student body? From what I have heard and read so far, I'm loving it and I will most likely choose the school, but I would like some more information and opinions before I track across state to visit.

Thank you!

Congrats I was accepted too  I’m a minority. I’m NA.

I know that if it is a rural SUNY school that there will not be much diversity. I don’t thnk that there is too much diversity at Fredonia but diversity isn’t really a big deal to me. I’ll always be a minority student, an EXTREME minority, wherever I go.

This was probably unhelpful. Sorry. Maybe I’ll see you next year!

Crap. This is old. Sorry.
